How to make the Butterfly Pea Flower Rich Syrup
- 1 tbsp of dried butterfly pea flowers
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups sugar
In a small pot bring water to a gentle boil. Add butterfly pea flowers and simmer until the water is a deep sapphire blue color. strain the flowers and put the water back into the pot. Add the sugar and bring back to a gentle simmer. Once the sugar has dissolved completely and the syrup has thickened, remove from the heat. cool completely before using.
